Born in Malaysia, studied in England before migrating to Australia in 1987. Speaks English, Malay, Cantonese, Mandarin, Hokkien and Hakka. Previously worked in senior management positions for a number of international and national companies, including Samsung and Ingram Micro.

Tsai was admitted as a solicitor of the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of Victoria. He is also a Justice of the Peace (Qualified).
Since beginning his legal career, Tsai has worked only in Australian migration law. He has developed extensive experience as an immigration lawyer assisting clients, particularly, in business / investor visas, family visas, student visa, visitor visa and visa cancellation. Tsai frequently represent clients at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) for merits review and in judicial review of the AAT decisions.
Tsai is the Principal Lawyer at Ozzie Visa.
When he’s not assisting clients, Tsai enjoys cooking for his family and friends, trying new food and travelling in search for new food adventures.
